Sainsbury’s (SBRY) - Reported a drop in quarterly underlying sales and cautioned that it did not expect market conditions to improve any time soon. Chief Executive Mike Coupe added that he still expected Sainsbury's to outperform its major peers. Closing price 246.7p. (Reuters)

Tesco (TSCO) - Likely to announce this week a sale of its Turkish unit Kipa and British restaurant chain Giraffe. Closing price 156.8p. (Reuters)

Glaxosmithkline (GSK) - An experimental drug for rheumatoid arthritis developed by Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline slowed joint damage and improved symptoms of the disease, meeting the main goals of a large, late stage trial, according to data released on Tuesday. Closing price 1462p. (Reuters)

SAB Miller (SAB.L) - Moody's changes its review of SABMiller's A3 rating to review for downgrade, from direction uncertain. Closing price 4303p. (Reuters)
