Barratt Developments (BDEV.L) – Posts a 21% rise in pretax profit, £682.3m for the twelve months ended June 30, attributed to its disciplined volume growth in a market with an under supply of new homes, stating it was ‘Business as Usual’ referring to the EU vote to leave. Forward sales are also up 4.1% y-o-y. Closing price 507.00p (Reuters)

BT (BT.L) – Three, wants the regulator to rein in market leader EE by setting a 30% cap on the proportion of airwaves an operator can own. Closing Price 394.80p (Reuters)

Ashtead Group (AHT.L) – Posts big increase on Q1 profit, £178m generated for 2016 versus £155m y-o-y, with group revenue up 12% anticipating full year results to be ahead of expectations. Closing price 1258.00p (Reuters)

Worldpay (WPG.L) - Funds managed by Advent International Corporation and Bain Capital LLC have offered to sell 350m shares of payments provider Worldpay Group Plc at a price of between 282p and 285p each via an accelerated bookbuild, joint bookrunner Bank of America Merrill Lynch said. Closing price 294.40pI. (Reuters)

Hargreaves Lansdown (HL.L) - Posted a 10% rise in full-year pretax profits, with assets under management up 12%. Year to end-June profits of £218.9m, beating a mean consensus forecast of £216.9m, and increasing total dividend by 3% from 2015 Thomson Reuters data showed. Closing price 1350.00p (Reuters)
