The below stocks have been identified as having potential to register bigger than normal share price moves (up or down) today based on the news cited

UK Utilities (CNA, NG., SSE) - UK energy providers will be subject to a 'significantly lower range of returns' as a result of an Ofgem review into price controls and potential consumer savings.

Legal & General (LGEN) - The insurer announces FY operating profits increased by 32% (continuing operations up 12%) thanks to slowing improvement in life expectancy and one-off benefits from reserves payments and US tax reform. Management has raised the dividend by 7%, while assets at is Investment Management arm rise by 10%.

NMC Health (NMC) - The Middle Eastern health chain announces FY revenues improve 31.3%, while EBITDA increased by 43.3% and adjusted net profit up 43.2%. The company expects another successful year in 2018, despite the challenging environment, and has backed this up with a 22.6% dividend hike.

Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) - The betting chain announces FY revenues up 13% and EBITDA up 18% (above guidance). EPS increases 20% and free cash flow rises by 57%, allowing a 21% dividend increase. However, the business notes that recent sporting results favouring bookies has reduced customer activity.

Rolls-Royce (RR.) - The engineer announced it will take a £340m hit as a result of engine issues on the Boeing 787 aircraft. While FY underlying organic revenues improved 6%, and pre-tax profit up 25%, management have left the dividend flat as it expects 2018 mid single-digit revenue growth, however expects higher operating profits and free cash flow thanks to restructuring. The 787 engine issues are expected to be fixed by 2020.
