BP (BP.) & Shell (RDSb) - Brent Crude trades a 27-month high of $59.5 overnight as concerns the Kurdish independence referendum could impact supply from the region have pushed the global benchmark higher.

Thomas Cook (TCG) - The group has announced an 11% increase in summer bookings and a 6% increase in Winter booking revenue, leading the company to back its 2017 guidance. The travel company's CFO has announced he will retire, while also announcing a strategic partnership with Swiss hotel investment group LMEY.

United Utilities (UU.) - The UK's largest water company has reiterated its full-year guidance, despite higher costs increasing the group's net debt. H1 revenue is 3% higher than a year earlier.
