GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) - The pharmaceutical giant will announce its third quarter results at midday today.
Lloyds (LLOY) - The owner of the UK's largest mortgage book has announced that statutory pretax profits more than doubled to £2bn as it announced no new PPI provisions, beating analysts' estimates. However, despite this the bank kept its dividend unchanged while also announcing loan impairments increased to £270m (+32% YoY) as a result of a 'single large corporate impairment'.
Unilever (ULVR) - Media reports suggest that three companies are still in the running to buy Unilever's spreads business, with the auction sale of the division expected to raise $7bn.
