United Utilities (UU.L) –Reported a 4% rise in full-year operating profit to £653.3m and will pay shareholders an annual dividend of 37.70p, a slight improvement on last year's pay-outs. Severn Trent (SVT.L) - Reported a 3.2% rise in full-year profit thanks to higher demand, allowing it to fulfil a pledge to pay shareholders and pay a dividend of 84.90p. Profit before exceptional items of £540.3m, while turnover increased 2.5% from a year earlier to £1.8bn. Closing Price 2182.00p (Reuters)

Close Brothers Group Plc (CBRO.L) -  Assets under management increased 9% year to date to £10.6Bn with solid net inflows. Group remains well positioned for remainder of current financial year. Closing price 1590.00p (Reuters)

Whitbread (WTB.L) - Whitbread, the owner of Premier Inn hotels and Costa Coffee, named Lloyds Banking Group executive Alison Brittain as its new boss, succeeding Andy Harrison. Closing Price 5295.00p (Reuters)

HSBC (HSBA.L) - Is exploring the sale of its Brazilian unit, the UK-based lender said in a stock exchange filing in Hong Kong on Friday. Closing Price 614.50p (Reuters)
