IQE PLC (IQE.L) – There could be a read-across from Apple Inc figures last night. iPhone sales were more resilient than market participants expected with sales hitting 52.2m against the previous year of 50.7m, a 3% increase. Howden Joinery Group PLC (HWDN.L) – Has increased its revenue by 14.8% overall and by 13.3% on a same depot basis. There are plans to open up to 30 new depots In Uk During 2018. The company looks to refresh its product offering and bring19 new ranges to market in 2018. Closing price 480.90p (Reuters)
Convatec Group PLC (CTEC.L) - Posted a revenue rise of 13.7% in Q1 up from $403.1m to $458.2m this year. Largely apportioned to acquisitions and favorable foreign exchange movements helped offset the persisting impact of supply chain disruptions last year in its business hampered by hurricanes disrupting shipping.
