AstraZeneca  PLC (AZN.L) – Missed on its Q1 2018 earnings and revenue, revenue missed, coming in at $5.18bn against  of $5.20bn expectations, its  core earnings per share metric came in at $0.48 against $0.57 expected, a 9% miss, however it left its full year guidance unchanged. Closing price 5354.00p (Bloomberg)

Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC (HIK.L) – For the full year, we continue to expect Injectable revenue to be within the range of $750m to $800m. We continue to expect competition to accelerate over the course of the year. We reiterate our expectations for generics revenues in 2018 in the range of $550m to $600m. Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LLOY.LN), Barclays PLC (BARC.L) -  Lloyds sells its Irish residential-mortgage portfolio to Barclays for £4bn, part of a strategy to become a low-risk, U.K.-focused bank. Closing prices 66.25p, 209.36p (Wall street Journal)

Ocado Group PLC (OCDO.L) – After yesterday’s stellar accent in the stocks share price, climbing as much as 80% and adding as much as £1.8bn to the company’s value, according to Bloomberg, may also pave the way for M&A options in the future. Closing price 798.4p (Bloomberg)
