Premier Oil (PMO.L) – Raised its Oil production guidance for full year from 68 kbopd to 73 kbopd (Thousand Barrels of Oil per day) , with H1 pretax profit of $5.0m and lower operating costs. Closing price 76.50p (Reuters)

Kaz Minerals (KAZ.L) – Reported a H1 profit rise to $115m from $88m the year previous, with the major new Bozshakol project ramping up more than 60% of ore throughput capacity achieved in August. Achieving high growth and low cost copper in H1. Closing price 163.70p (Reuters)

Anglo American (AAL.L), Antofagasta (ANTO.L), Glencore (GLEN.L), Kaz Minerals (KAZ.L) - Copper edged up on Thursday from near one-month lows as the US Dollar dropped after minutes from the last U.S. Federal Reserve meeting showed policymakers were in no rush to raise interest rates. Closing Prices 864.00p, 541.00p, 192.50p, 164.10p (Reuters)

Kingfisher (KGF.L) – Reported solid progress in Q2 with sales growth driven by its markets in Britain and Poland but said it was cautious on the uncertainty regarding Brexit for the short-term outlook though seeing no impact on business yet. Total sales rose 8.4% to £3.0bn. Closing price 358.00p (Reuters)

British American Tobacco (BATS.L), Imperial Brands (IMB.L) – Tobacco companies won a partial victory in a lawsuit challenging the US FDA to require pre-clearance for Tobacco products. Both are going ex-dividend today. Closing price 4947.00p, 4128.50p (Reuters)

UK 100 Cash, Wall Street Cash, Germany 30 Cash – Risk appetite returned overnight as minutes from July’s Federal Reserve meeting indicated that the possibility of a September US rate hike was remote. Current levels 6884.5, 18579.8, 10606.8. (Reuters)
