InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) - One of the world's largest hoteliers, posted a 10 percent rise in 2014 profit, led by strong growth in its core North American market. Closing price 2585.56p

Brit (BRIT) - Fairfax Fin Holdings Ltd to announce that they have reached agreement regarding terms of a recommended cash offer. Closing price 274.2p

Monitise (MONI) - Said first-half group EBITDA loss widened, hurt by its switch last year to a subscription model from one based on licences; also said its strategic review had seen many "constructive discussions with market-leading players" interested in its business. Closing price 21.03p

Sinclair Is Pharma  (SPH) - Revenues increased by 31%; Loss before tax of £10.8M due to £7.7M increase in finance charges arising from FY14 acquisitions.  Closing price 36.25p
