Rolls-Royce (RR.) -  Will eliminate its aerospace, land and sea divisions, leading to the early departure of the divisions' respective heads, a spokesperson said, confirming a story in the Financial Times. Closing price 540.00p (Reuters)

Dixons Carphone (DC) - Beat forecasts with a 23% rise in H1 profit, helped by a strong performance in its home market where it outperformed rivals. It made an underlying pretax profit of £121m in the 26 weeks to Oct. 31, compared to analysts' average forecast of £111m. Closing price 476.70p (Reuters)

BHP Billiton (BLT) - Iron ore miner BHP Billiton is expected to cut capital spending again for its diminished United States oil and gas business, and is considering shutting down more rigs and further write-downs to the onshore division next month, The Sydney Morning Herald said. Closing price 686.9p (Reuters)

Rio-Tinto (RIO) - High-cost iron ore producers are "hanging on by their fingernails", said Rio CEO Sam Walsh in an interview with Bloomberg Television on Tuesday, as miners fight for survival in the face of falling metal prices amid a glut and weak demand. Closing price 1879.50p (Reuters)

Astrazeneca (AZN) – Aims to build up its already strong position in China by making and developing more medicines locally, and will invest more than $800m in the country over the next 10 years, it said on Wednesday. Closing price 4391p. (Reuters)

Domino’s Pizza (DOM) - Said on Tuesday it is forming a joint venture with Domino's Pizza Enterprises to buy Joey's Pizza for 45m euros, creating Germany's largest pizza delivery group. Closing price 969p. (Reuters)

Barratt Developments (BDEV) and Taylor Wimpey (TW) - Bank of England Governor Mark Carney said the U.K. is in a “low for long” interest-rate environment, stating economic developments required to justify a rate increase are not yet in place. Closing Prices 614.00p and 198.70p (Bloomberg)
