 Fresnillo (FRES.L) – On track to achieve 2014 guidance of 43m silver ounces, including the Silverstream, and 450,000 attributable gold ounces. Gold production up 32% over Q1 and Silver production increases 5% over same period. Closing price 913.50p. (Reuters)

London Stock Exchange Group (LSE.L) - Total income in Q1 rose 16% to £323.9m, as revenue grew across almost all of its business divisions. Closing Price 1946.00p (Reuters)

Meggit (MGGT.L) - U.S. firm United Technologies Corp (UTX.N) could be preparing a 625p cash offer for the British engineering firm, the Daily Mail wrote in its market report, citing dealers. Closing Price 490.10p (Reuters)

Rio Tinto (RIO.L) – Boosts Q2 iron ore output. Says Q2 was strong, lifts 2014 copper output guidance. Global miners count on Chinese mines closing to boost demand. Closing price 3244.50p. (Reuters)

Severn Trent (SVT.L) – Is trading in line with expectations and is on track to offer shareholders a 5.6% rise in dividend payments this financial year. This dividend is expected to be 84.9p for the 2014/15 financial year. Closing price 1922.00p. (Reuters)
