Balfour Beatty (BBY) - The construction company announces FY underlying profits more than double with improvements across the board, paving the way for a 22% increase to the FY dividend.

Hikma Pharmaceuticals (HIK) - Days after receiving a fresh setback from teh FDA, the drugmaker announces it has swung to pretax loss after a US generics impairment. Revenues were flat, while the dividend of 23c comes in just ahead of the 22c previous.

Morrisons (MRW) - The supermarket chain announces FY group like-for-like sales ex-fuel rose 2.8% (Q4 retail slower, wholesale faster), while underlying pre-tax profit improved 11%. This allows management to announce a 4p special dividend, raising the full payout by 86%. Encouragingly, the pension surplus more than doubles, while net debt is below £1bn. Management notes it is on track for wholesale supply sales and profits targets.

Prudential (PRU) - The UK's largest insurer is to split its business, separating its UK business from the US, Asian and African segment. Management hopes the two new entities, Prudential Plc (US & Asia) and M&G Prudential (UK) will have greater control of capital allocation.
