Glencore (GLEN.L) Produced 13% more copper in the first half this year, in line with market forecasts, boosted by output growth at its African and South American mines. Due to report half-year results next week. Closing Price 375.00p (Reuters)

Admiral (ADM.L) - Named Geraint Jones its new chief financial officer, saying Kevin Chidwick gave up the role to focus on his position as CEO of the company's Elephant Auto Insurance business in the United States. Posted a 2% rise in adjusted pretax profit to £184.9m for the first-half ended June, helped by a 9% increase in customer numbers. Closing price 1450p. (Reuters)

Pennon (PNN.L) - Pennon's Viridor, which services residential and commercial customers through recycling, composting,  expected to exceed 2013/14 core profit this financial year. Closing price 789p. (Reuters)
