Barratt Developments (BDEV.L) – Says total forward sales up 47%. Strong sales performance continues with 0.77 (2013: 0.68) net private reservations per active site per week. Closing Price 376.30p (Reuters)

 BT (BT.A.L) – Strong demand for fibre broadband and television helped BT report its first growth in consumer revenues in a decade and strong overall full-year results. Closing price 376.80p (Reuters)

Centrica (CNA.L) – Selling a 40% stake in its Canadian natural gas business to joint venture partner Qatar Petroleum International for around $200m. Closing Price 326.80p (Reuters)

Glencore Xstrata (GLEN.L) – Appointed Tony Hayward as chairman. Hayward, who is now chief executive of Genel Energy (GENL.L) has been serving as interim chairman at Glencore Xstrata since last May. Closing Prices 323.40p & 960.00p respectively (Reuters)

Morrisons (MRW.L) – Posted a 7.1% fall in quarterly underlying sales, hurt by its move to cut prices to combat a loss of market share to discounters and by its relative lack of exposure to fast growing online and convenience markets. Closing Price 190.80p (Reuters)
