Centrica (CNA.L) – Direct Energy Business and Xpress Natural Gas have started construction of a compressed natural gas (CNG) production facility and distribution terminal in Manheim, New York. Direct Energy, one of region's biggest energy providers, is a North American subsidiary of Britain's largest energy supplier, Centrica. Closing Price 303.40p (Reuters)

National Grid (NG..L) – First-half adjusted pretax profit rose 16%, helped by strength in its UK business. Declared an interim dividend of 14.71p. Closing Price 917.00p (Reuters)

International Consolidated Airlines (IAG.L) – October group traffic up 7.5% vs 2013. They anticipate making a declaration in 2015 as the first step of introducing a sustainable dividend payment. "We remain confident in meeting our 2015 financial targets which we see as the trigger to introducing a dividend," The dividend would be based on a pay-out ratio of 25% of the company's underlying profit after tax. The company added that over the 2016-2020 period it would target average earnings per share growth of over 10% per year and an operating profit margin of 10-14%. Closing Price 414.00p (Reuters)

Wall Street Index – US Non-Farm Payrolls data due at 13:30pm with an expected 235,000 jobs created and an unemployment rate of 5.9%. Trading at 17,590pts (Bloomberg)
