RSA (RSA.L) – Posted an interim pretax profit of £69m and said it was making good progress in stabilising its financial health after a year of upheaval following problems at its Irish unit. Closing price 443.50p (Reuters)

Rio Tinto (RIO.L) – Underlying Profit $5.1bn ($4.54bn expected) interim dividend up by 15% to $0.96, H1 consolidated sales revenue $24.3bn down 0.7%, cut net debt to $16.1bn. Closing Price 3390.50p (Bloomberg)

Savills (SVS.L) – H1 underlying profit up 16% to £30.1m, pretax profit rose 15% to £24.7m, board confident in its expectations for FY, H1 revenue up 8% to £430.8m. Closing Price 574.50p (Bloomberg)
