HSS Hire (HSS.L) – Offer price has been set at 210p p/sh. Based on offer price, HSS' total market capitalisation at commencement of conditional dealings will be £325m. The offer comprises 49,047,619 new shares and 5,119,048 existing shares, representing 35% of HSS' issued Shares immediately following admission, excluding the over-allotment option. Hargreaves Lansdown (HL..L) – Assets under administration rose 4.7% to a record £49.1bn in the six months to end of December. Also announced an interim dividend of 7.3p per share, up 4% from the first half and said profit before tax for the period stood at £101.9m, down from £104.1m versus 2014. Ryanair Holdings (RYA.L) – January traffic grows by 30%. Traffic grew by 1.3m to over 5.98m customers. Rolling annual traffic to January grew 8%. Jan load factor increased 12%. Closing Price €9.97 (Reuters)

Barclays (BARC.L), Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L), Lloyds (LLOY.L), HSBC (HSBA.L) – Standard & Poor’s has downgraded a number of UK and European banks on Tuesday. Barclays and Lloyds were lowered by two notches to ‘BBB’, while Royal Bank of Scotland was downgraded two notches to ‘BBB-‘ and S&P cut HSBC by a notch to ‘A’. Closing Prices 248.45p, 375.60p, 74.97p, 617.50p respectively (Digital Look)

Sky (SKY.L) – Boasts "Excellent first half" with revenue up 5%, profit up 16%. Registered 204,000 new customers, the highest growth in nine years. Closing Price 943.00p (Reuters)
