Aberdeen Asset Management (ADN.L) – Funds under management fell to £323.3bn at the end of 2014 from £324.4bn three months earlier. BG Group (BG..L) – Booked nearly $6bn worth of impairment charges in 2014 on the back of the steep drop in oil prices, forcing it to slash its 2015 investment budget to $6-7bn. Full-year total operating profit fell 14% y-o-y to $6.5bn, while earnings slipped 8% to $4bn. Closing Price 934.20p (Reuters)
BP (BP..L) – Fourth-quarter profit fell as oil prices slumped, forcing Europe’s third-largest oil company to cut spending. Profit adjusted for one-time items and inventory changes dropped to $2.2-2.8bn a year earlier, the London-based company said in a statement today. That beat the $1.6bn average of 13 analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Closing Price 437.70p. (Reuters)
Ocado (OCDO.L) – Posted an annual pretax profit for the first time since it was founded in 2000. Made a pre-tax profit before one off items of £10.1m in the year to November 30th 2014. That was in line with analyst expectations and compares with a loss of £3.8m in the 2012-13 year. Closing Price 415.50p. (Reuters)
