The UK 100 is called to open +3 points today at 7030. A marginally higher open is expected this morning as the UK bluechip index has bounced from overnight lows of sub 7000. This comes in-spite of growing Evergrande concerns as shares in the Chinese property group were suspended, Asian markets were mixed on Monday, with the Hang Seng index in Hong Kong tumbling more than 2%. China’s markets are closed for holidays and are set to reopen on Friday. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 fell 1.15%.
