The UK 100 called to open -27 points at 7484. The UK 100 is predicted to open the last trading day of 2022 on the back foot ahead of the New Year’s celebrations this weekend, today is a shortened trading day with the London Stock Exchange closing at 12:30pm, this comes after US stocks jumped on Thursday as investors headed into the final trading days of 2022. The Dow Jones rose 345.09 points, or 1.05%, to 33,220.80, recovering nearly all of its losses from the previous session. The S&P gained 1.75% to close at 3,849.28, and the Nasdaq climbed 2.59% to 10,478.09.
