Company News:

Associated British Foods have said their FY 2022-23 expectations have been improved, with adjusted operating profit and adjusted earnings per share now expected to be broadly in line with the previous financial year.

Bunzl posted higher annual profit, aided by string demand for its low-priced products amid inflationary concerns, as well as acquisitions it made last year. They reported an adjusted profit before tax for the year ended Dec 31st of £818m, up 17.2% YoY.

Dechra Pharmaceuticals reported a H1 FY23 pretax profit of £29.7m, down £53.4m YoY. They state that trading patterns at the start of 2023 have been unpredictable in the US. They expect their FY23 underlying operating profit to be at the lower end of market estimates.

Senior sees strong growth for the group in 2023, in line with expectations.
