Markets Overview:

The UK 100 is called to open +38 points this morning at 7045. The UK 100 bluechip index is set to open higher on Monday morning as Sterling slumped to an all-time low (1.03) overnight against the dollar after the mini-budget on Friday. The Dow closed -1.6%, S&P -1.7% and Nasdaq -1.8%. In Asia the Nikkei closed -2.6%, Sydney -1.3%, Shanghai -0.1% and Hong Kong -0.2%.

GlaxoSmithKline appoints Julie Brown as CFO from May 2023 as their current CFO Iain Mackay is to retire.
Moneysupermarket.com appoints Niall McBridge as CFO.
RPS Group agrees to acquisition by Tetra Tech at 222p per share in cash, valuing the company at £636m.
Sainsbury's plan to sell 18 supermarket stores to LXi REIT.
