Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open -8 points at 7575.   The UK 100 looks set to open marginally lower this morning following a subdued session yesterday in London.  US markets reopen today following the Juneteenth bank holiday.  Asian markets were lower this morning amid disappointment that the change in the five-year lending rate used as a benchmark in mortgages was not the 0.15% forecast.
