The UK 100 is called to open +45 points today at 7200. The UK 100 is expected to open modestly higher amid hopes the Russia-Ukraine conflict could be headed towards a ceasefire and possible end. After, Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, indicated he would meet Vladimir Putin for peace talks. Asia’s main stock markets were mixed with Japan and Australia higher, and China and Korea headed lower.
