The UK 100 called to open +14 points at 7889. The UK 100 is set to open slightly higher on Monday amid further warnings of rising interest rates globally. In the US on Friday Wall Street ended mostly higher with the Dow closing +0.5%, S&P +0.2 but the Nasdaq closed -0.6%. In Asia on Monday, stock markets were mostly lower with the Nikkei falling -0.9%, Hang Seng -0.5% whereas Shanghai closed positive +0.7%.
BP: Loading of Azerbaijani oil at Turkey’s Ceyhan terminal resumed on Sunday.
