The UK 100 called to open -20 points at 7477. The UK 100 looks set to open lower this morning. Yesterday on Wall street saw stocks fall as traders looked to the end of a losing year and braced themselves for 2023. The Dow Jones lost 365.85 points, or 1.1%, to 32,875.71. The S&P fell 1.2% to 3,783.22, and the Nasdaq dropped 1.35% to 10,213.29.
Ferrexpo plc this morning said that Non-executive Director Kostyantin Zhevago has been detained in France by the French authorities, and the Company understand that this is in relation to matters unrelated to Ferrexpo. The Board of Directors of Ferrexpo is seeking to clarify the situation and will update the market as appropriate.
