The UK 100 is called to open +1 points this morning at 7474. The UK 100 looks set to open modestly higher this morning, following two days of bumper gains. This comes after UK unemployment rate fell 0.2% to 3.6% in the three months to July hitting its lowest level since 1974 and a decrease in the employment rate, while the economic inactivity rate increased. In the US, the Dow finished Monday up 321 points, 0.7%, at 32,383, the Nasdaq added 154 points, 1.3%, to 12,266 and the S&P improved 43 points, 1.1%, to 4,111.

AstraZeneca has won the dismissal of a U.S. shareholder lawsuit claiming that it concealed problems in developing its COVID-19 vaccine.
AVEVA Group: French industrial group Schneider Electric is nearing a deal to take full control of British software company AVEVA Group for around £3.5bn.
Fevertree Drinks reported a fall in profit for H1 despite strong demand in Europe and the US, as inflationary pressures and continued exposure to elevated Trans-Atlantic freight costs bit into earnings. They reported an adjusted core profit for H1 of £21.9m (2021: £29.2m profit).
Ocado reports Q3 sales of £531.5m, +2.7% YoY from £517.5m. They averaged 374,000 orders per week in Q3 as they expect Q4 to result in mid-single digit sales growth. The revenue growth expected in Q4 will not be sufficient to generate annual growth YoY.
Trustpilot H1 pretax loss narrows to $9.2m from $17.3m a year ago. They reiterate their FY22 outlook as they are on path to breakeven adjusted EBITDA in FY24.
