Markets Overview:

 

The UK 100 is called to open +35 points this morning at 7386.  The UK 100 looks set to open higher on Monday following gains in the US on Friday and strong gains in Asia overnight.  US stocks put an end to a three-week losing streak on Friday, as investors signaled the ECB hike and Powell’s warning about more rate increases were seemigly behind them.  At the close, the S&P 500 had gained 1.5% at 4,067;  the Dow ended 1.2% higher at 32,152 and the Nasdaq ran another. 2.1% to close at 12,112.

Grainger this morning reported Like-for-like rental growth 4.5% YTD & Record occupancy 98.2% (PRS) continued.

 

Greencoat renewables announced today that the Group has generated 1,127GWh of electricity, which was 4% behind budget, predominantly due to constraints and curtailments in Ireland.  Net cash generation (Group and wind farm SPVs) was €92.1 million (gross of SPV level debt repayment).  The Company has declared total dividends of 3.09 cent per share with respect to the period.

 

SigmaRoc said they have delivered Strong first half of 2022, demonstrating the effectiveness of their Group's diversified model with revenue of £247m, 17% ahead of prior year on a pro-forma basis.
