Markets Overview:

 

The UK 100 is called to open -24 points at 7646.  The UK 100 looks set to open in the red today with inflation once again affecting traders sentiment.  On Friday the picture was similar on Wall Street, with all major indices ending the week in the red, The Dow Jones climbed 137.55 points, or 0.4%, to close out the week at 34,721.12, while the S&P dipped 0.27% to 4,488.28. The Nasdaq fell 1.34% to 13,711.00.  This morning Asian markets also slipped to start the week with central bank meetings and US inflation data in focus.
