Markets Overview:

 

The UK 100 is called to open -117 points today at 6870.  The UK 100 looks set for another triple digit decline as stagflation worries have been stoked by soaring oil prices.  Brent crude is up 10% at $129.83, having briefly flown above $139 a barrel amid worries the US and Europe are ready to slap an export ban on Russian supplies.  On Friday, the Dow fell 179 points, or 0.5%, while The S&P 500 lost 0.7% and the Nasdaq Composite moved down 1.6%.
