Markets Overview:

The UK 100 is called to open -7 points today at 7338. A modestly lower open is expected this morning despite upbeat economic news from China earlier today, industrial output and retails sales beat market expectations. However, this was counterbalanced by a fall in new home prices.  It was a mixed session in Asia, China’s Shanghai Composite slipped 0.18% despite the positive news while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index rose 0.04%.  In Japan, the Nikkei 225 gained 0.55% and South Korea’s Kospi surged 1.07%.

Cineworld says that UK & Ireland's October revenue was above 2019 levels as trading has been helped by strong film slate.
Serco upgrades their 2021 guidance to £4.4bn from £4.3bn as they expect underlying trading profit to be more than £225m.
Vistry names Ralph Findlay as new chair from May 2022.
 
Wizz Air orders a further 102 Airbus A321 aircrafts which will be bulk delivered between 2025-27.
