Markets Overview:

The UK 100 is called to open +15 points today at 7067. Asian shares finished the week negative and set for their lowest close since November and worst week since February. Regulatory risk, coronavirus, the Fed have all added to the fall this week. Tech to property to education stocks in China have been hit on regulatory crackdowns. Markets are also generally worried about slowing growth in Asia amid outbreaks of the Delta variant of the coronoavirus. The Fed slowing its monetary stimulus has added more fuel. Oil stabilised yesterday at $64.06 a barrel with Brent at $66.81 per barrel.
