Markets Overview:

UK 100 called to open +40 points points at 5640. Signs of a relief rally in both the U.S. and the UK come on the back of news that it is expected today that President Trump will ease lockdown rules today as data now suggests that new cases in the U.S. may have peaked.  It was a more subdued session in Asia overnight, seeing the Nikkei close 1.33% lower at 19,290 and the Hang Seng trade 0.58% lower at 24,013, in China early losses were pared toward the close, seeing the CSI 300 trade 0.1% higher.  Oil prices once again fell yesterday, overnight however does seem to have stabilised as it has emerged that some U.S. oil drilling companies may actually get paid to leave the oil in the ground in an attempt to stabilise the global price.
