Dixons Carphone PLC (DC.L) - like-for-like revenues +4%, pre-tax profits -24%, dividends flat, FY 2018/19 headline pre-tax profit expected ~£300m, with similar cash conversion. Investing £30m in staff;  UK electricals market to contract with cost increases, Mobile gross margins to be hurt by lower inflation. Closing price 192.60p (Reuters)

Saga (SAGA.L)in-line for first four months; branded retail policies +1% YoY (new motor +30%, new home +14%), Total retail flat. Markets competitive, direct marketing = majority of new business; motor claims costs in-line; 2019/20 Tour bookings flat; Cruises >55% of  sales target. Closing price 192.60p (Reuters)

BP PLC (BP.L), Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSb.L), Tullow Oil PLC (TLW.L) – Oil markets could see increased production after the Saudi Oil Minister stated yesterday that here will be a greater demand for oil in H2 this year and that every OPEC Minister he has met agreed it is time to change course, pending this Fridays meeting. Closing prices 565.20p, 2649.00p, 228.70p (Sigma Information Services)

Barclays PLC (BARC.L), Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LLOY.L), Royal Bank of Scotland PLC (RBS.L) – With some UK banks trading near multi month-lows, the BoE policy decision and meeting minutes at noon today, with all of the 38 analysts expecting the MPC to vote in favor of keeping rates unchanged. A 7-2 split is seen as the mostly likely outcome, with Ian McCafferty and Michael Saunders continuing their push for an immediate increase in rates. Closing prices 194.00p, 61.74p, 258.00p (Bloomberg)
