British American Tobacco (BAT.L) – Its Glo heated-tobacco product reached 4.3% national market share in Japan, higher than 3.6% in February. Sales are in line with its expectations, profit growth will be skewed toward H2 if currency rates remain stable. It lowered its guidance for a hit to operating profit by 3%. Revenue expected to climb beyond £1bn. Closing price 3757.09p (Bloomberg)
Vedanta Resources PLC (VED.L) – The CEO said the company plans to double finished copper production at Zambia's Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) to 200,000 tonnes this year. Closing price 732.10p (Reuters)
