Cineworld (CINE) - The cinema chain announces FY revenues rose by 11.6% (8% at constant FX), while adjusted EBITDA climbed 12.7% (7.4% c. FX) and adjusted pre-tax profits rose by 14.5% as cinema goers enjoyed major blockbuster films such as Star Wars and Beauty and the Beast. Management also announces net debt lower, allowing a 14.5% dividend hike.
easyJet (EZJ) - The budget airline may react the German peer Lufthansa's announcement that it expects profits to be lower this year than in 2017 as higher fuel costs offset cost-cutting.
Old Mutual (OML) - The South African financial conglomerate announces FY adjusted pre-tax profits grew by 22%, while continuing operations pre-tax profit climbs an impressive 102%. Adjusted NAV rise 6%, resulting in a 5% hike to the dividend ahead of a proposed break up of its asset management and insurance businesses.
Persimmon (PSN) - The housebulder has announced Roger Devlin will take over as Chairman from 1 June, replacing Nicholas Wrigley who quit over former CEO's Fairburn's £100m pay packet. Devlin brings experience from William Hill, Marston’s and the FA.
Unilever (ULVR) - The UK's third largest company has announced it will move its headquarters to the Netherlands, while retaining some management operations in the UK. Management insists this decision was not based on Brexit.
