Anglo American (AAL) - The miner reports Q4 production +5%, despite the removal of higher cost platinum and coal volumes, which subsequently resulted in a decrease in copper. A new diamond mine saw its De Beers business enjoy a 22% increase in volumes.
ASOS (ASOS) - The online retailer has said it saw “exceptional performance” over the last quarter despite concerns of a retail slowdown in the UK. Total retail sales increased 30% YoY, at the top end of its full-year growth target and better than analysts' forecast of 27.4%. The company left FY guidance unchanged.
Diageo (DGE) - The drinks conglomerate has reiterated its FY guidance after providing its H1 update. Organic volumes were 2% (1.9% est), net sales +4% (3.7% est), op profit 7% (4.8% est). While North America and Africa were weak, Europe, Latin America and Asia were strong in the first half.
Sky (SKY) - The TV and internet provider saw H1 like-for-like sales +5% vs (5.9% est), EBITDA +10%, onboarded 365K new customers, and increased its dividend by +1.6% (13p vs 10p est). However, the company also announced it expects the consumer environment to remain challenging.
St. James's Place (STJ) - The UK 100 asset manager has announced FY net fund inflows +40% to £9.5bn, while assets under management +20% to £90.7bn.
