Acacia Mining (ACA) - The gold miner's largest shareholder and former owner Barrick Gold reported a surprise loss after the US market close as a result of a tax provision in relation to the ongoing Tanzanian debacle, while it also reduced its production guidance.

Barclays (BARC) - The UK bank reported an 18% drop in revenues from its investment banking division, including a 34% decline from its crucial Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) department as a result of low volatility in financial markets. Pretax profit missed estimates, coming in at £1.1bn versus expectations of £1.4bn.

Debenhams (DEB) - The department store owner has announced FY pretax profits fell by 42% as a result of continued margin pressure and a changing in UK consumers' spending habits.

Kaz Minerals (KAZ) - The Kazakh copper miner announced that production increased by 14% in the third quarter, increasing its full-year production guidance.
