Aviva (AV.) - The insurer will sell its 49% stake in its Taiwanese joint venture as it looks to focus on more profitable markets.
GKN (GKN) - The company has announced that it expects FY profits to be only 'slightly above' last year's levels after a couple of unexpected claims in its aerospace division could result in a £40m charge in Q4.
HSBC (HSBA) - Alongside Citigroup and Deutsche Bank, the Asian focused lender has agreed to a total $132m settlement over the Libor rigging scandal. HSBC will pay $18.5m, while Deutsche Bank and Citi will pay $80m and $33.4m respectively.
Provident Financial (PFG) - The embattled sub-prime lender has announced that its key Vanquis business delivered good Q3 growth, however it still sees a FY loss of between £80-100m and the FY dividend will not be paid.
