AstraZeneca (AZN) - Announces yet another FDA disclosure, this time the grainting of a priority review after the acceptance of regulatory submission for its lymphoma drug Acalabrutinib.

BAE Systems (BA.) - The defence manufacturer beats H1 earnings forecasts after an 11% increase in EBITDA and a 4% increase in sales on a constant currency basis, with the company reiterating its FY targets.

Rio Tinto (RIO) - The dual-listed miner announces $3bn of cash returns for shareholders in the form of a 110c interim dividend and a $1bn share buy back scheme after almost doubling H1 underlying earnings to $3.9bn while reducing pretax costs by $2.1bn.

Royal Mail (RMG) - Could face a class-action lawsuit from sub-postmasters who claim that faulty IT systems resulted in up to 500 false accusations of theft and fraud.
