BP (BP.L) – CEO said Oil demand growth will slow to an average of 0.7% a year over the next two decades, half the rate over the last 20 years and supplies will remain abundant in the coming decades, meaning producers in the Middle East, Russia and U.S. continue to gain market share at the expense of higher-cost rivals. Sky PLC (SKY.L) – Reports H1 revenue rose to £6.41bn against £6.04bn a year earlier, up over 6%, helped by customer growth announcing a new deal for live England matches in UEFA, Nations League, qualifiers for EURO 2020, FIFA World Cup 2022. Closing price 1003.00p (Bloomberg)
Unilever PLC (ULVR.L) - Reported underlying sales rose 2.2%, missing analysts' average expectation of 2.8%, according to a consensus compiled by the company, and growth of 3.2% in Q3 and 4.7% in H1. The CFO told Reuters it was targeting growth in the range of 3-5% for 2017, but that Q1 would be below that. Closing price 3348.50p (Bloomberg)
