Barclays (BARC.L), Lloyds (LLOY.L), Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L) - Theresa May offered her strongest support yet for London’s financial district, insisting banks are of “huge value” to the U.K. economy as executives signaled they were accelerating plans to move staff abroad after Brexit. Antofagasta (ANTO.L) – Said on Thursday it would sell its 40% stake in the Alto Maipo hydroelectric power project to partner AES Gener, exiting the project entirely. Closing Price 752.50p (Reuters)

Close Brothers Group PLC (CBRO.L) - Had a “strong performance” since the start of the financial year, with its banking division loan book up 9.3% y-o-y to £6.6bn, with its outlook confident of strong results in H1 and good outcome for full 2017 financial year though managed assets fell to £7.8bn. Closing price 1432.00p (Bloomberg)

ITV (ITV.L) – UBS downgrades ITV to Sell from a hold and cuts its target price from 203.5 to 170p over the next twelve months (there may be conflicting broker comments elsewhere on this stock) . Closing Price 203.50p (Reuters)
