ASOS (ASOS.L) - Reported a 37% rise in annual profit after strong growth across its UK, U.S. and European markets, saying it was confident on its new financial year. Posting underlying pretax profit of £63.7m for the year to August 31, slightly ahead of analysts' average forecast of £62m, and a big rise on the £46.4m it posted last year. Closing price 5332.00p (Reuters)

Bellway (BWY.L) – Posts better than expected full-year pretax profit up 41% to £498m in the year to July 31, marginally ahead of forecasts in a Thomson Reuters poll of analysts. The company stating demand for new homes has remained resilient since Britons voted to leave the EU. Closing price 2250.00p (Reuters)

Burberry (BRBY.L) - Reported a better-than-expected 2% rise in retail sales in its Q2, analysts expected a 1% rise after tourists in London took advantage of the weaker pound, although H1 revenue took a hit as a result. Positive trading in Europe and a "significant outperformance in the UK" helped the improvement in comparable retail sales, its first growth in the measure for four quarters. Ryan Air (RYA.L), Easy Jet (EZJ.L), International Consolidated Airlines (IAG.L), Thomas Cook Group (TCG.L) TUI Group (TUI.L) – Ryan Air reduced its FY net profit guidance by 5%, citing the 18% drop in sterling as the main protagonist and is expected to reduce H2 average fares by between 13%-15%, previously thought to be 10%-12%. Keep an eye on sector peers. Closing prices 11.81c, 873.50p, 377.50p,67.00p, 1055.00p  (Sigma Squawk)

William Hill (WMH.L) – Canadian online gambling company Amaya Inc has ended merger talks with William Hill after concluding that it could best deliver shareholder value by remaining an independent company. Closing prices 304.90p (Bloomberg)
