Anglo American (AAL.L) - Public Investment Corp CEO Dan Matjila, Anglo American’s biggest shareholder with a 13.4% stake, wants South African investors to follow its lead and increase their holdings in the century-old miner as it pushes for the creation of a domestic commodities “champion.” It almost doubled its stake in the miner at 215p a share back in January.
