Marks & Spencer Group Plc (MKS.L) - Its new boss's plan to turn around the firm's underperforming clothing and homewares business. Warning this would impact short-term profit with tough trading conditions to continue. The CEO’s focus will be on improvements across its ranges and designs and better product availability. BP (BP.L), Royal Dutch Shell (RDSb.L), Tullow Oil (TLW.L), Weir Group (WEIR.L), Cairn Energy (CNE.L) - Oil futures pushed closer to $50 a barrel on Wednesday. U.S. crude hit its highest in over seven months after data suggested a larger-than-expected drawdown in U.S. crude inventories last week, and the US dollar edging lower after robust housing data. Closing prices 357.80p, 1661.50p, 242.00p, 1234.00p, 203.40p (Reuters)

Dixons Carphone Plc (DC.L) - Group like-for-like revenues up 5% in Q4 and in full year, with pretax profit in top half of previous guidance between £445m-£450m. Closing price 447.90p (Reuters)

Intertek Group Plc (ITRK.L) - Revenue up 12.7% for first four months of 2016, group revenue at £774. On track to deliver robust full year revenue growth, with debt expectations consistent with guidance. Closing price 3297.00p (Reuters)
