Arm Holdings (ARM) –Lower-priced iPhones contributed to a significant shortfall for Apple in its latest quarterly earnings compared with expectations. It reported its first revenue decline in 13 years and added to concerns among investors the company will find it hard to return to solid growth as the smartphone market matures, Arm supply Apple and Sanmsung with components for their Technology to a large extent. Barclays (BARC) - Reported a worse than expected 33% slump in pretax profits for Q1, profits fell to £793m just below the average forecast of £846m from analysts polled by the company, a 7% fall. Closing price 173.95p (Reuters)

Croda (CRDA) Profit growth of £306.8m up7.7% up to in Q1, compared to a year earlier of £284m, which was in line with our expectations. Company is confident in forward progress. Closing price 2999.00p (Reuters)
