Anglo American (AAL) - Boosted its total annual iron ore output at its Minas-Rio mine offsetting lower output at its Kumba subsidiary. Output at Kumba totalled 44.9mt last year, down 7% from 2014, while Minas-Rio's production rose to 9.2mt from 0.7mt. Closing price 253.75p (Reuters)

SSE (SSE) – Its customer accounts fell to £8.28m it had lost 300,000 customers over the first nine months of the year due to customers switching energy providers. It maintained its dividend and earnings per share targets for the full year. Closing price 1432.00p (Reuters)

FirstGroup (FGP) - Warned that profit would come in lower than it expected, blaming wet weather and flooding in Britain and driver shortages in the United States. Closing price 102.30p (Reuters)

Diageo (DGE) - Reported net sales were £5.6bn down 5% but reported a 1.8% rise in half-year sales on Thursday, weighed down by foreign exchange rates and the sale of assets including its wine business. Closing price 1867.00p (Reuters)
