International Consolidated Airlines (IAG) - David Cameron could approve a new runway at Heathrow Airport as soon as this week, breaking a famous pledge made in 2009 not to allow a third runway to be built at Europe's busiest hub airport. IAG go ex-dividend this morning as well. Closing price 584p. (Reuters)

Glencore (GLEN) – Is under pressure due to concerns about its huge debt pile, will inform investors this week that it expects to complete its $10bn debt reduction plan ahead of schedule, the FT reported on Sunday. Closing price 87.29p. (Reuters)

Barclays (BARC) - plans to cut more jobs in its investment banking unit as the British bank steps up efforts to slash costs and boost profit. Closing price 229.6p. (Reuters)

Aviva (AV.L), Prudential (PRU) -  These and and the Lloyd's of London insurance market were among 19 firms to have their capital calculation models approved by the Bank of England on Saturday, enabling them to lower costs under new rules. Closing prices 507.5p, 1505.5p. (Reuters)

RSA Insurance (RSA), Legal & General (LGEN), Aviva, (AV.) and Direct Line Group (DLG) - Schools, hospitals and thousands of homes in northern England continue to battle against the effects of Storm Desmond. The Army spent a second day evacuating people across Carlisle, Keswick and Appleby. More "persistent" downfalls have been forecast later in the week. Closing Prices 436.70p, 267.30p, 507.50p and 409.50p (BBC)
