Sports Direct (SPD.L) -  Profits +21%. Will cut cut 2016 bonus scheme earnings target after failing to make the acquisitions necessary to boost sales. Underlying pretax profit for the year to April 26 was £300m, ahead of forecasts of £293m and up from £249m a year ago. Total revenue +4.7%. Closing price 734.50p (Reuters)

Dixons Carphone (DC.L) - Beat forecasts with a 21% rise in yearly profit. Underlying pretax profit £381m in year to May 2, beating consensus forecast £376m. Closing price 461.50p (Reuters)

‎BT Group (BT.A) - Sky News reports that Ofcom will seek views about the impact of BT hiving off Openreach, the unit which manages access to the national telecoms network. Closing price 461.50p (Reuters)

Premier Oil (PMO) - Mexico's oil regulator on Wednesday awarded the second block in its initial offshore tender to the consortium including Sierra Oil & Gas, Premier Oil and Talos Energy. Closing price 147.30p (Reuters)
